Is your pet's account missing a red button like this?
The likely cause why a pet can't be tagged as missing is because there are no assigned assets to your pet. We do this because it's another layer of security measure that you diligently assign the correct asset to your pet, e.i. the asset assigned is the exact same accessory your pet is wearing.
Assigning the Asset
- Go to your Pawnec Assets page and click the unassigned asset.
- Click "edit asset" and select a pet's profile picture to assign the asset to.
- Select asset type and create an asset nickname. This helps you identify it in your asset list especially if you have multiple assets.
- Click the "Save Changes" button to successfully assign the asset.
As soon as you finish these steps, you will now see the red button that you can click to tag your pet as missing.
