Assuming that you properly activated your pet's asset, and you're wondering why your contact information does not show, what you see is your pet's recreational profile.
Pawnec's smart profile dynamically displays content between a recreational profile and a missing profile.
A recreational profile prioritizes the display of social and fun elements. A missing profile on the other hand reveals your contact information and that of your pet's godparents near the top of the profile. This is immediately followed by the trusted locations — your pet's and godparent's addresses — in a map with navigation assistance from either Waze or Google Maps.
Switching on your pet's missing profile
- From your homepage, go to the account of your missing pet.
- Click the red button "Tag pet as missing".
Warning: The pet's godparents will be alerted via email and SMS with emergency communication. We advise that you inform them beforehand before they act on a false alarm.
Reverting to a recreational profile
From the same account of your missing pet, you can click the red button "Tag pet as found".
For security reasons, we alert your pet's godparents via email and SMS to verify a found pet report. An unverified found pet report will keep the missing profile of your pet on until all godparents verify that your pet is found. For pets without a godparent, we do not verify this anymore and this may be prone to the accidental press of a button, especially in times of emergency. That is why we advise that you keep at least one (1) godparent for each pet as it adds a layer of security to your pet's emergency circle.
